PSG are preparing to negotiate a new contract with the club’s Spanish head coach Luis Enrique.
Enrique took over as manager of Paris Saint-Germain in mid-2023 and led the Parisian team to a surprise Ligue 1 and Coupe de France title last season.
Fabrizio Romano recently reveal that PSG are preparing a new contract offer for Enrique to consider. As the current one is set to expire in the middle of next year.
The incident follows an interview with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi in which he heaped praise on Enrique’s performance. Prompting Romano to ask a source about the latest developments.
According to the famous Italian media, the PSG board is preparing an offer for the 54-year-old coach. They are now waiting to sort out the details before sending it for official consideration.
In addition to Al-Khelaifi’s praise, the French media added that the reason the PSG board wanted to continue working with Enrique was because the ยูฟ่าเบท Spanish coach is flexible and can use every player in the team effectively. As well as having excellent internal team management.
The manager played a significant role in the club’s transfer business this summer, and it was report by L’Équipe that he was a major reason for why PSG refuse to enter the race for Victor Osimhen (25) as the window came to a close, even after Gonçalo Ramos (23) suffered a significant injury.
The manager reportedly did not think that Osimhen would be able to adapt to his game plan which has placed a significant emphasis on his forward line being fluid and willing to swap positions as seen by his use of Marco Asensio as a false nine.
